The 2026 F1 season is underway... and Mercedes is already running away with it...
George Russell and Kimi Antonelli are favored to lead Mercedes back to the top of the constructors' standings and put an end McLaren's two year two-year championship streak.
Formula 1 will have 11 Constructors for the first time in the modern era, which could make for the most competitive constructors' landscape in years.

Mercedes was one of the fastest teams in preseason testing in Barcelona and Bahrain, and showcased their full capabilities in Melbourne, Australia by placing first and second in the Australian Grand Prix.
The British based team is one of the most successful in F1 history, and had the most dominant run in F1 history; winning eight consecutive Constructors' World Championships from 2014-2021.
Mercedes is spearheaded by team principal Toto Wolff, and has two very capable drivers in the seats - George Russell and Kimi Antonelli. Russell finished fourth in the Drivers' Championship last season, and was favored to win his first Drivers' Championship in 2026, but second-year driver Kimi Antonelli has snatched the number one spot from his teammate, winning five consecutive races in a row.
McLaren ran away with the Constructors' Championship last season, clinching their second consecutive title by over 350 points.
British racing driver Lando Norris secured his first Drivers' Championship by finishing two points above Max Verstappen, and Oscar Piastri placed third after leading for much of the season. With both drivers returning to McLaren, they cannot be counted out as title contenders.
McLaren has not been the fastest car in testing, but they are one of the best at making mid-season performance upgrades as seen in recent years, and with such a strong duo in the seats, they could make a push to win their third consecutive Constructors' Championship.
Charles Leclerc and Ferrari had the fastest car in Bahrain testing, and have shown off new innovations in doing so. Ferrari has included an exhaust winglet and a rotating rear wing mainplane on their car, demonstrating that Fred Vassuer's team is hungry to get back to the top for the first time since 2008.
Leclerc will race alongside the seven-time Drivers' Championship winner Lewis Hamilton, and both drivers have finished on the podium at least once in five races.
Hamilton has driven well in the last two races in Canada and Monaco, finishing second to Antonelli both times.
Red Bull arguably have the best driver in Max Verstappen, but the relatively inexperienced Isack Hadjar in the second seat does give them a potential disadvantage.
Verstappen's abilities alone should keep Red Bull near the top of the standings, but it will come down to what Hadjar can offer to make them a true contender for the Constructors'.
Verstappen is frustrated with the new F1 rules, and failed to finish in the first race of the season in Australia, and has not yet found the podium in 2026.
Audi, Haas and Racing Bulls are the next field with a shot at winning the Constructors' Championship at +200000.
Alpine (+300000), Aston Martin (+300000), Williams (+300000), and Cadillac (+400000) round out the odds table.
Cadillac has the lowest odds to win the Constructors' Championship in it's inaugural F1 season, while the rebranded Audi car was a welcome surprise in Bahrain and could find themselves in the middle of the pack rather than sitting at the bottom.
Alpine sacrificed all of 2025 to start this season on the front foot, making them a possible dark-horse contender after finishing last in the Constructors' standings last season with just 22 points. Alpine's cars are driven by Pierre Gasly and Franco Colapinto, and will feature a Mercedes power-unit for the first time.
Aston Martin posses experienced and capable drivers in Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll, but the car itself has been subject to scrutiny in testing after having the slowest times in Bahrain.
