The Milwaukee Brewers swept the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLCS to book their ticket to the World Series for the first time since 1982. Milwaukee has never won a World Series in the history of the franchise, but are the betting favourites in 2026.
The Tampa Bay Rays knocked out the Cleveland Guardians in the ALCS, and will play in their first World Series since 2020. Like the Brewers, Tampa Bay has never won a World Series, meaning that for the first time since 2023, baseball is guaranteed a first-time World Series champion.
