The NBA, WNBA, NHL, and MLB seasons are underway, and player prop betting has skyrocketed in recent years.
Many bettors wonder, what happens if the player I wagered on gets injured? Do I lose all my money or is there an insurance?
In this article, we'll cover bet365's rules regarding injury protection (Prop Protect) surrounding players in the NBA, WNBA, NHL, MLB, and NFL rules regarding Prop Protect.
Here's how bet365's "Prop Protect" works:
Applicable to any pre-game or live NFL, NBA, WNBA, NHL, or MLB bet placed on a market within "Player Props" on the list.
For straight bets, if a player you have backed is ruled out due to injury before the time specified in the table below, bet365 will return your wager as Bonus Bets, provided the outcome has not already been determined.
Where a selection is part of a parlay, Same Game Parlay or Same Game Parlay +, the bet will be recalculated for the remaining selections and left to run. Any subsequent returns from the recalculated parlay, Same Game Parlay or Same Game Parlay + will be paid as Bonus Bets.
T&Cs apply, outlined on bet365's website.
League | Period |
NFL | End of 1st Half |
NBA | End of 1st Half |
WNBA | End of 1st Half |
