Ferrari are favored to win the 2026 Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday, June 7, 2026.
Ferrari sit second in the F1 Constructors' Championship (147 points), but could make up ground on Mercedes (219 points) with a victory in Monaco.
Ferrari have struggled in recent years, and went the entire 2025 season without winning a single grand prix. They have vastly improved in 2026, but still find themselves just behind the dominant Mercedes car.
Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton have combined for four podium finishes in the Ferrari through five races, and one of the drivers could be in line for their first victory this weekend in Monaco.
Ferrari enter this weekend as the favorites to win the Monaco Grand Prix, with Leclerc (+187) topping the odds table above Hamilton (+450).
Although Ferrari has lost out to Mercedes in the first five races on the calendar, Monaco's unique track is expected to be the perfect match for Ferrari's strengths, while also masking the weaknesses.
Ferrari's car has been excellent in tight courters, managing corners with ease, but lacks the pace of other cars in the straights. This lack of outright speed has hurt Ferrari in the early part of the season so far, but the handling could benefit the constructor in Monaco.
The Circuit de Monaco has very few straight sections, and many low-medium speed corners making the Ferrari the favorite to cross the finish line first.
It's the one track that power is not king
-Lewis Hamilton
Leclerc and Lewis have a good history in Monaco, and combined with the cars impressive handling, Ferrari could be in line for their first victory of the season.
Leclerc is favored to be the fastest racing driving in Monaco, but Hamilton is coming off the back a second placed finish in Montreal and could take that momentum to the top of the podium this weekend.
Born in Monaco, Leclerc won the Monaco Grand Prix for the first and only time in 2024, but has won pole position three of seven grand prix on the street track. Leclerc's favorite race on the calendar is in his hometown, and he's dreamt of crossing the finish line first since he was young.
Last season, Leclerc finished in second, just 3.1 seconds slower than the eventual champion, Lando Norris.
Leclerc's veteran teammate, Hamilton, has won the Monaco GP three times, and had pole position twice in his 19-year career.
Both drivers have been been relatively even to this point in the season, with Leclerc sitting third in the Drivers' Championship standings with 75 points, and Hamilton sitting fourth with 72 points.
