Charles Leclerc heads home to Monaco next weekend as the favorite to win his backyard grand prix.
Charles Leclerc is currently third in the Drivers' Champions with 75 points, sitting behind both Mercedes drivers, Kimi Antonelli and George Russell.
Born in Monaco, Ferrari's Charles Leclerc has finished in third place twice this season, in Australia and Japan, and has two fourth places finishes in the opening five races before traveling back to his home country.
Leclerc has historically raced very well in front of a home crowd, but only won the race for the first time in 2024. Last season, Leclerc finished in second, just 3.1 seconds slower than the eventual champion, Lando Norris.

Leclerc is the favorite to win the Monaco Grand Prix, and his teammate Lewis Hamilton has the second best odds to do so. Hamilton, a 7-time F1 champion, is currently fourth in the Drivers' Standings after finishing second last time out in Montreal.
Kimi Antonelli falls to third in the odds, even after winning four of the first five races of the season, and finishing second in the other.
Antonelli is running away with the Drivers' Championship right now, but the bookmakers expect Ferrari to be the more successful team in Monaco next weekend.
The 2026 Monaco Grand Prix will be held on June 7, with the race beginning at 9:00 AM ET.
