Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever forced a win-or-go-home Game 3 after they hung tough to knock off the Las Vegas Aces in Game 2 on Tuesday.
Clark put up 27 points, 15 assists, and seven rebounds while shooting 9-18 from the field and 5-11 from three in a must-win situation. She hit dagger after dagger in the second half, including a deep three over 3x Defensive Player of the Year A'ja Wilson in the fourth quarter.
Wilson, the soon-to-be 5x MVP, was slowed down in Game 2 after she scored 38 in Game 1. She only managed to get 11 shots off in Game 2 and had little impact on the game in the second half.
Tonight's elimination game will be played in Vegas - where the Aces are -4.5 point favorites (-110). These two teams played in a similar situation last year, when the Aces knocked off the Clark-less Fever in overtime in Game 5 of the semifinals at home.
