The Atlanta Dream leads the series 1-0 against the Washington Mystics.

Angel Reese is helping anchor the frontcourt filling in for Brionna Jones, Reese recorded a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds in her playoff debut. Rhyne Howard led the Dream with 26 points, while Allisha Gray added 25 to help fuel a second-half comeback, leading to a dominant 92-77 victory.

The Dream heads to Washington for Game 2 having won seven straight road games. Extending that streak to eight will secure their spot in the next round.

Despite having just three players with prior playoff experience, the Mystics came out looking dominant in the first half. They built an 11-point lead and kept Angel Reese quiet on the scoreboard. However, the intensity caught up with them after the half, as 11 turnovers sparked a second-half collapse.

With their season on the line, the young stars will look to be more consistent through both halves of the game and secure a win in front of their home crowd.
