Bristol City F.C.

Founded in 1894, Bristol City Football Club have a history of fluctuating between the lower divisions of English football, with their best period of success coming in the 1970s when they achieved promotion to the top flight for the first time in their history.

Playing their home fixtures at Ashton Gate Stadium, Bristol City are yet to win a major trophy in their history and last appeared in the English top flight in the 1979/80 season, 12 years before the inception of the Premier League.

Despite this, Bristol City have produced some good players over the years, including Geoff Merrick, Antoine Semenyo and Alex Scott.
