Resurgent Norwich City have reeled off three straight wins and are eyeing up the top 10 as they prepare to take on inconsistent Bristol City at Ashton Gate on Saturday.
The first three months of the season have been a rollercoaster ride for the Canaries, who went through a significant dip either side of the last international break - losing six games in succession - before responding with a three-match winning streak.
But there has been a consistent approach from Norwich head coach Philippe Clement, who has always remained committed to a high intensity, attacking brand of football.
Clement’s tactics bring risks and rewards and are a contributing factor to the lack of any draws from Norwich’s opening 14 league games.
Norwich have climbed from 21st to 12th over the last fortnight with wins away to Charlton (3-1) and Derby (4-0) sandwiched either side of a 3-2 success at home to Watford.
And their rising confidence makes them tricky opposition for Bristol City, who remained in the bottom half after Wednesday’s 2-1 loss at home to Wolves.
Michael Skubala’s side will be keen to improve their home form after a run of three successive losses at their West Country base.

Best Bet: Norwich to win @ 29/20
Norwich should feel confident after a trio of victories and their purple patch can continue at the expense of Bristol City, who could be set for a fourth successive home defeat.
A kind set of fixtures has played a role in Norwich’s recent revival but there should be more to come from the Norfolk side, who remain ambitious to improve on last season’s ninth-place finish.
The Canaries are the Championship’s fourth top scorers and are finding the net on a regular basis despite the absence of key striker Mo Toure, who has been absent for six weeks with a shoulder injury.
Clement’s side cruised to a 4-0 victory at Derby on Tuesday evening and their midweek experience was a lot less strenuous than Bristol City, who lost 2-1 to Wolves the following evening in a hard-fought encounter.
Skubala’s side ran out of energy against Wolves, who dominated the second half and turned the game around with a late double from substitute Sean Neave.
Changes could be made for the Norwich clash but the short turnaround works against the West Country side, who may taste defeat for the second time in four days.
Alternative Bet: Paris Maghoma anytime goalscorer @ 3/1
Norwich have some exciting attacking players, including 25-year-old Paris Maghoma, who is playing some of the best football of his career.
Maghoma couldn’t quite make the breakthrough with Brentford, where he made eight Premier League appearances without scoring.
But he has suddenly burst onto the scene for Norwich, scoring in three consecutive games, and his hot-streak looks set to continue.
Paris Maghoma 1+ shots on target
Both teams to score
Cameron Pring to be carded
Pays 19/2
Norwich like to attack with pace and power and their style of play is well suited to Maghoma, who has been their outstanding player in recent weeks.
Maghoma presents the biggest threat to a vulnerable Bristol City defence and he can at least force a save out of home goalkeeper Brad Collins.
Bristol City’s fans will be looking for their team to show some intent after three straight home losses.
Skubala’s side have scored four goals in the last two matches and they can find the net against Norwich, who have kept only one clean sheet this season.
Norwich like to attack using the full width of the pitch and their approach may force a stray tackle or two out of combative Bristol City left back Cameron Pring, who was booked against Wolves.
