The cream has risen to the top at the Canadian Open in Toronto, with six-time Grand Slam champion Iga Swiatek set to face world number two Elena Rybakina in a titanic tussle and both have plenty going for them.
Swiatek has recorded three-set wins over Marta Kostyuk and Elina Svitolina either side of a more comfortable success over Diana Shnaider and she is bidding to win her first piece of silverware since landing the Korea Open in September last year.
Rybakina has also come through a tricky schedule in Toronto, with four of her five matches going to a deciding set which includes those against Naomi Osaka and Coco Gauff in the last two rounds.
