Peterborough United winger Kyrell Lisbie has emerged as a target for Championship outfit Millwall as they look to add more depth in the attacking department.
Football League World have reported that The Lions are "plotting a move" for the 22-year-old just 12 months after he signed for Peterborough, having impressed during his first season in the EFL.
Millwall have been amongst the most active second tier clubs in the summer transfer window, with Mathis Servais the newest through the door for a reported club record fee upwards of £5 million.
The Belgian joins the South London outfit alongside fellow new additions Tairyk Arconte and Jenson Metcalfe, and League One star Lisbie is the latest player to be linked with a move to The Den.
Lisbie endured a difficult journey to the football league, plying his trade for lower league outfits Woodford Town, Welling United and Cray Valley Paper Mills after being released by Watford at the end of the 2021/22 season.
It wasn't until 2024 that the forward made the step up to the National League, signing for newly-promoted Braintree Town. He enjoyed an impressive season with the club, winning Sportsbeat Young Player of the Year -- an award given to the best young player in the National League -- and Braintree's Player of the Year.
May of 2025 saw him make the transition from semi-professional to professional football as he signed for The Posh, and he hasn't looked out of place in the third tier of English football.
Scoring 11 goals and registering seven assists in his debut League One term, Lisbie has impressed so much that the club tied him down to a new contract in April that will run until 2030 on new terms.
It's a shrewd move from Peterborough, who are expected to demand a sizeable fee in the event that Millwall -- or other clubs -- make their interest known.
