Millwall legend Steve Morison has been confirmed as the new loans manager at Leicester City.
Morison is the latest addition to the off-field team at Leicester following the club's relegation from the Championship.
Russell Martin has taken over as the new manager and he has already brought former Barnsley manager Conor Hourihane with him as his assistant.
The addition of Morison fills another key role in the East Midlands as they look to secure promotion from League One at the first attempt.
Morison will oversee the progress of any players who leave Leicester on loan next season and he will also play a role in finding suitable deals.
The 42-year-old represented the likes of Stevenage, Norwich City, Leeds United and Millwall during his playing career, but it is the latter where he is most fondly remembered.
Morison made almost 300 appearances for Millwall across two different spells and he scored a total of 84 goals.
Since hanging up his boots in 2020, he has turned his hand to management but his coaching career is yet to take off.
After managing Cardiff City in the Championship, Morison has had spells at Hornchurch and Sutton United.
He has been out of work since leaving Sutton in September 2025 and his new position at Leicester will see him move away from the dugout.
