Hull City have reportedly turned their attention to Nottingham Forest's Dilane Bakwa in their hunt for a new winger.
The Tigers have welcomed a number of new recruits this summer as they prepare for their return to the Premier League following a ten-year absence.
While Hull have brought in ample defensive reinforcements, they remain in need of additional firepower going forward.
The club have been in talks with Aston Villa's Leon Bailey for several weeks but with a move seemingly unlikely to come to fruition Sergej Jakirovic has reportedly earmarked Bakwa as a potential option.
According to Ben Jacobs, Hull have held talks with Forest over a potential loan move for the 23-year-old.
The French youth international arrived at the City Ground from Strasbourg as part of a deal worth a reported €35million.
In his maiden campaign in English football Bakwa found first-team minutes hard to come by with Forest, and ultimately made just six Premier League starts as the club finished 16th in the table.
In all, he registered 2 assists across 21 appearances for the club in what was a tumultuous campaign for the East Midlands club.
Hull are said to be also interested in Japanese winger Keito Nakamura.
The 26-year-old netted 14 league goals for Reims last season as the club narrowly missed out on a place in the Ligue 2 play-offs.
Nakamura also has earned 30 senior caps for his country, and scored in Japan's 2-2 draw with the Netherlands at the 2022 World Cup.
