Fresh from shattering the men's mile world record at Diamond League London, Josh Kerr has his sights set on gold at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

Kerr ran the mile at the London Stadium in 3 minutes and 42.66 seconds, breaking Hicham El Guerrouj's 27-year-old historic record by 0.47 seconds.

Cruising to victory in the first heat, Kerr knows he will have to be at the top of his game to hold off compatriot Jake Wightman and Australian star Cam Myers, with the duo turning on the style in the second heat.
