Newmarket takes centre stage in the UK this week as it hosts its famous Cambridgeshire Meeting.
The three-day event takes its name from the feature race, the bet365 Cambridgeshire, and features a whole host of Group contests, including a pair of top-level races in the Cheveley Park Stakes and the Middle Park Stakes.
First staged in 1886, the bet365 Cambridgeshire is one of the most competitive and revered handicaps in British racing, regularly throwing iconic finishes by virtue of the huge field that it attracts year on year.
Karl Burke and Clifford Lee have landed the last two renewals with Boiling Point and Liberty Lane.
Fans heading to Saturday's action will likely witness a star of the future in the Cheveley Park and Middle Park. The former has been won by the likes of Special Duty, Alcohol Free and True Love since the turn of the century and is often used as a springboard to next season's 1,000 Guineas.
This year's renewal promises to be no different with a mouthwatering clash between Sun Goddess, Senorita Bonita and Libertango in the offing.

The going at Newmarket is currently being described as GOOD ahead of the opening day of the Cambridgeshire Meeting, with a going stick reading of 6.7.
Very little to no rain is expected to fall on the track between now and the beginning of the meeting, therefore ground staff applied 8mm of watering on Tuesday.
