It’s day two of Newmarket’s Cambridgeshire meeting on Friday and Phill Anderson of the Racing Post supplies us with his best bets on the card.
There is no shortage of top-class action at Newmarket on Friday with the Rockfel Stakes and Joel Stakes featuring on a seven-race card.

While she’s top on ratings, Arisaig looks vulnerable in Friday’s opener given that she needs a strong pace to aim at and not many of these like to go forward; she also hasn’t won for more than two years.
Therefore, there’s some value elsewhere in the field and the one that appeals most at the prices is Alobayyah.
William Haggas’ filly has progressed through the ranks this campaign, culminating in a win in the Kensington Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot on her penultimate start, an effort worth marking up having been made to wait for a run at a crucial point in the race.
However, she didn’t have the same luck at Haydock last time out when denied a clear run and she was uncharacteristically keen early in that race, paying the price in the closing stages.
Having shown no signs of failing to settle previously, that’s probably an effort worth putting a line through and she had left the impression in previous starts that we have not seen the best of her yet.
With the yard in form, she looks like the value play at 10/3.

It doesn't look like the strongest renewal of the Rockfel Stakes and it's worth taking a chance on one at an each-way sort of price.
Speed Of Sound was backed like defeat was out of the question in a competitive handicap at Doncaster at the St Leger meeting and it's interesting that connections have decided to opt for Group company at this stage, rather than go for a handicap off a mark in the mid-to-low 90s.
This Sioux Nation filly has been on an upward curve all season, following up her maiden win with a third in a valuable sales race at the Ebor meeting behind Sun Goddess who has done plenty for the form in the interim.
Speed Of Sound then won in better style than the winning margin suggested at Doncaster when forced to make her own running and the runner-up from that contest ran creditably in Group company at Ayr last week.
An extra half furlong should suit here and she looks capable of hitting the frame at 12/1.
16:45 Newmarket - Mythical Guest @ 16/1
Another horse that could be a bit over priced is Mythical Guest in the finale.
This six-year-old has fallen down to an attractive handicap mark and seems to save his best for the Newmarket tracks which includes a success on the Rowley Mile course over 1m2f.
The ground was against him at Yarmouth last time out but he still managed to finish third of seven and 1m2f on ground slower than good was always going to stretch his stamina.
With the drop back in trip on quicker ground in his favour, he looks worth supporting with the yard running at a 33 per cent strike-rate in the last fortnight.
