Wimbledon 2026 Women's Draw Announcement

The road to the 2026 Wimbledon title is officially set following today's announcement of the women's singles draw.

As two weeks of tennis begin, the first round is scheduled to begin on Monday, June 29.

Aryna Sabalenka enters Wimbledon as the No. 1 seed with a chance to turn the page after a disappointing quarterfinal finish at the French Open.

She returns to the grass courts knowing a win at the All England Club could bring her one step closer to completing a career Grand Slam.

While Sabalenka may be the one to beat, the draw is headlined by past champions 2022 winner Elena Rybakina and defending champion Iga Swiatek, who is looking to go back-to-back.

These top seeds headline a highly competitive field ahead of the first round.

One of the biggest storylines entering this year's tournament is the return of Serena Williams, who received a wild card ahead of the women's singles draw.

The seven-time Wimbledon champion adds another layer to the already competitive field.

Grass has never been Naomi Osaka's preferred surface, and Wimbledon has often presented challenges that she hasn't faced on hard courts.

However, her recent run in Bad Homburg may provide a timely boost in confidence, giving the four-time Grand Slam champion momentum and belief ahead of Wimbledon.

Below is a look at the full draw, along with key info about the tournament:
