The first round of the 2026 Wimbledon is nearly here, and the final draws for both the men's and women's sides were announced today.
Below, we'll focus on the men's draw and everything you need to know about how you can watch the iconic tennis tournament.
Of course, the biggest storyline on the men's side is, once again, the absence of World No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz. The Spaniard has been dealing with a severe wrist injury that has held him out of play for over two months and forced him to miss the French Open in late-May and early-June.
Alcaraz is a two-time Wimbledon champ - he defeated Novak Djokovic in both the 2023 and 2024 final - and finished as the runner-up in 2025 to World No. 1 Jannik Sinner.
His injury, along with Sinner's unexpected loss to Juan Manuel Cerundolo, opened the door for Alexander Zverev to win his first career major at Roland Garros on clay. Now, the German will look to win back-to-back slams, this time on grass.
Sinner is the favorite to win his second consecutive Wimbledon, but there's still a lot of competition out there for him to get through, even without Alcaraz.
Djokovic, now 39-years-old, remains one of the best players on the tour and comes into the tournament with lots on the line. He's hoping to tie Roger Federer with eight Wimbledon titles - and who knows how many serious opportunities he has left at the most prestigious tennis slam moving forward in his career.
The American men are still searching for the country's first men's singles title at a Grand Slam since Andy Roddick won the U.S. Open in 2003. U.S. staples Taylor Fritz and Ben Shelton will hope to do just that.
Jack Draper headlines the hometown hopes in England, where he looks to become the next British Wimbledon winner since Andy Murray in 2016.
