The first round of the French Open at Roland Garros begins on Sunday, May 24, and the final draw was announced today.
Of course, the biggest storyline on the men's side is the absence of World No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz.
Widely considered the best clay court player in the men's circuit, Alcaraz injured his wrist in a match at the Barcelona Open on Apr. 14 and hasn't played since. On top of missing the French Open (which he's won twice), the Spaniard also annoucned that he will be forced to withdraw from Wimbledon in July.
This opens a clear door for World No. 1 Jannik Sinner to complete a career Grand Slam. Sinner has conquered the US Open, Australian Open, and Wimbledon, but has yet to win the French Open after he fell to Alcaraz in the 2025 final.
Other notables include the unbreakable No. 3 seed Novak Djokovic, No. 2 Alexander Zverev, No. 4 Felix Auger-Aliassame, and No. 6 Daniil Medvedev.
Ben Shelton (No. 5 seed) headlines an American group that also features No. 7 Taylor Fritz, No. 19 Frances Tiafoe, No. 24 Tommy Paul, and more.
Below is a look at the full draw, along with the odds for the top-ten favorites to win the prestigious tournament.
