The Baltimore Orioles and Colorado Rockies are set for an interleague matchup on Tuesday night at Coors Field in Denver.

The O’s are now just half a game back in the AL wild card hunt.
On the other side, the Rockies are once again enduring a tough season. Colorado enters this contest owning a 52-86 record, which gives them the worst record in all of baseball. The Rockies have now dropped five games in a row.

The Rockies will send rookie Gabriel Hughes to the mound, and he is still learning his way around a big-league mound.

Add in the fact that the Colorado bullpen ranks 26th in MLB with a 4.74 ERA, and the Orioles should be able to have a strong night at the plate.
The Rockies should be able to find offensive success as well. Colorado scored 127 runs in the month of August, which ranked 10th in all of baseball. Furthermore, their team OPS of .736 ranked 6th. The Rockies seem to have a favorable matchup going up against Baltimore starting pitcher Kyle Bradish.
Bradish is coming off a start in which he allowed seven earned runs on nine hits through just 4.1 innings against the Cardinals.
He’s struggled on the road all season long, as his ERA jumps from 3.46 at home to 4.50 away from Camden Yards. Furthermore, his BAA jumps a full 100 points from .203 at home to .303 on the road. The Rockies are swinging the bats well, and they seem to be in a strong position to keep things rolling at the plate.
