Baltimore Orioles: Team Profile

The Baltimore Orioles were founded in 1894 as the Milwaukee Brewers and moved to St. Louis in 1902 as the Browns. They were one of the first eight teams in the American League, before moving to Baltimore in 1953.

After moving to Baltimore, the Orioles won three World Series Championships in 1966, 1970, and 1983. After struggling from 2017-2021, the O's made back-to-back playoff appearances in 2023 and 2024, but missed out on the postseason last year.

The Orioles are in the AL East division where they compete against the New York Yankees, Toronto Blue Jays, Boston Red Sox, and Tampa Bay Rays.
