Colorado Rockies: Team Profile

The Colorado Rockies, owned by Dick and Charles Monfort, were founded in 1993 as an expansion team.

The Rockies played their first two seasons at Mile High Stadium - the home of the Denver Broncos - before moving to the hitter-friendly Coors Field in 1995.

Colorado has been a bottom-of-the-barrel franchise for a long time now, having only qualified for the playoffs five times in their 33-year existence. They went an abysmal 43-119 in 2025, however under new leadership led by President of Baseball Operations Paul DePodesta, there is finally some hope for the franchise.

The Rockies compete in the NL West alongside the Los Angeles Dodgers, San Francisco Giants, San Diego Padres, and Arizona Diamondbacks.

Colorado Rockies 2026 season odds

The Colorado Rockies are +30000 to win the NL West, +30000 to win the National League, and +50000 to win the World Series.
