NLCS Game 4 Brewers vs. Dodgers Predictions, Props & Best Bets

Los Angeles Dodgers have sent Milwaukee Brewers home in three of the last eight postseasons, but the Brew Crew are on the brink of returning the favor after a remarkable first three games of the National League Championship Series.

Indeed, Milwaukee goes into Game 4 aiming for a sweep.

The Dodgers send veteran Tyler Glasnow to the hill as they try to save their season, while the Brewers are expected to start rookie left-hander Shane Drohan as they look to wrap up a famous series win.

Brewers vs. Dodgers betting picks and predictions

Over 7.5 runs (-105)

The Dodgers have won three of the last six World Series and have been favorite all year to become the first National League team to win three consecutive World Series titles.

Now, the sport's biggest spenders are staring down the barrel of a sweep, with the Brewers' batting lineup once again teeing off on some of the best pitchers in baseball to take a 3-0 lead in this NLCS.

In Game 3, Blake Snell was the latest star to get hit hard by the Brew Crew, who have a .748 OPS from their seven postseason games, by far the most of any team in the playoffs.

The Brewers have scored 15 runs in the three games that they have played in this series and limited the Dodgers to just seven.

However, LA's struggling bats look set for an easier task than they have had in the rest of the series in Game 4.

Rookie Shane Drohan is expected to start, with veteran Dustin May set to follow in relief and there are question marks about both pitchers.

Drohan has had a solid rookie season, with a 4.19 ERA, but has not pitched more than five innings since August 13. That means May is likely to get plenty of work out of the pen and he has hardly been lights out this year, with a 4.70 ERA.

He pitched a scoreless inning in Game 2, but his last four outings of the regular season were rough, giving up nine earned runs in 10 ⅓ innings.

The former Dodger gave up home runs in three of those appearances and the Dodgers have retained their ability to hit the long ball even if they have struggled in this postseason.

With their season on the line, expect the Dodgers' bats to wake up against a makeshift Brewers pitching staff and for this game to go over the total as a result.

Tyler Glasnow over 3.5 hits allowed (-110)

The Brewers have made contact better than any other team in this postseason, with their .263 batting average by far the best in the playoffs, with the New York Yankees' .238 ranking second.

They are facing Glasnow, who was not at his sharpest in his NLDS game against the Braves, allowing five walks in 4 ⅔ innings.

His command should improve in this game, but he could be hit hard by a team who are consistently doing so, take over 3.5 hits allowed.

Shohei Ohtani over 0.5 walks (+125)

One of the biggest stories of the Dodgers' struggles has been the issues Shohei Ohtani has been facing. Their star man is battling injuries and has been anonymous in this series against the Brewers.

He has gone 2-for-9 in the series but has drawn a walk in four of his last five games. Take him to add to that tally in Game 4.
