Louisville Cardinals quarterback Lincoln Kienholz is back in action of Friday night against Villanova after putting up a great fight in a 38-41 loss to Ole Miss in Week 1.
Against Ole Miss, Kienholz passed for 307 yards, two touchdowns, and ran for 69 yards and one touchdown on top of that. Kienholz was moving the ball well against the 2025 College Football Playoff semifinalists, and showed real promise in his first start for Louisville.
Kienholz transferred to Louisville after being a backup at Ohio State his first two years in college football. Kienholz is finally getting the opportunity to show his ability after coming into college as a four-star recruit from South Dakota.
