The Cy-Hawk rivalry returns Saturday night as No. 22 Iowa hosts Iowa State at Kinnick Stadium.

Both teams enter 1-0, but the Hawkeyes will look to build on a dominant 40-0 win over Northern Illinois, while the Cyclones opened the Jimmy Rogers era with a 38-10 victory over Southeast Missouri State.
The Hawkeyes enter Week 2 having named Hank Brown the starting quarterback, though they still had Jeremy Hecklinski splitting reps in their opening game against Northern Illinois.
Iowa State's QB Jaylen Raynor had four touchdowns in his starting debut, finding opportunities to make big plays outside the pocket. If he can continue to escape the pressure the Hawkeyes could be in trouble.
The last eight Cy-Hawk games have been decided by 10 points or less and the Cyclones have won the last two meetings in Iowa City. With a rivalry shifting to a night game for the fist time since 2016, both teams will face an early test as they look to establish early momentum.
