Jaylen Brown's name popped up in trade rumors for Giannis Antetokounmpo, and it looks like his time in Boston could be coming to an end.
Jaylen Brown is one of the best players in the NBA, but after 10 seasons with the Boston Celtics, he may find a new home soon.
Brown is a five-time All-Star, a two-time All-NBA Second Team selection (2023, 2026), and the 2024 NBA Finals MVP. In addition, he is incredibly durable. Brown has proved his worth in the league while playing for the Celtics, but his relationship with the franchise and the city appears to be deteriorating.
Last season, the 29-year-old averaged 28.7 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game while shooting 47.7% from the floor. He led the Celtics to a 56-26 record and the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference, even in the absence of Jayson Tatum.
Since the Celtics were eliminated from the NBA Playoffs, Brown has been vocal about feeling underappreciated, leading to intensifying trade rumours ahead of the start of free agency.

The Celtics (+190) are still the favorites to keep their star player, but a significant amount of teams are lurking for the All-Star.
The Denver Nuggets (+300) have the best odds to lure Brown out of Boston. The Nuggets could offer the Celtics a combination of Jamal Murray and Cam Johnson for Brown and Sam Hauser, which on paper looks like a win-win for both sides. Nikola Jokic would then pair with Brown in Denver, while the Celtics add significant backcourt scoring with Jamal Murray.
The LA Clippers (+500) have the next best odds to land the five-time All-Star, and could do so if they decide to move on from Kawhi Leonard or Darius Garland. If the Clippers were to land Brown without moving Kawhi, they would have to add a significant amount of draft capital in the deal.
The Portland Trail Blazers (+600) just traded for Ja Morant from the Memphis Grizzlies, but that doesn't mean their offseason has concluded. Portland have a boatload of valuable draft picks and young players, plus large contracts that could make a deal possible.
The Charlotte Hornets (+1000) have also been active so far this offseason, moving on from LaMelo Ball and Miles Bridges while adding Grayson Allen and Royce O'Neale. Like Portland, Charlotte still have a significant amount of assets at their disposal, its just a matter of which direction they want to take the franchise.
Other teams that could trade for the Celtics star are the Utah Jazz (+1200), Brooklyn Nets (+1600), Detroit Pistons (+1600), Atlanta Hawks (+2500), and the New Orleans Pelicans (+2500).
