Founded in 1884, Derby County Football Club have a strong history of success, winning the league title twice in the 1970s and the FA Cup in 1946, however are renowned for their 11-point Premier League season - which still stands as the worst English top flight season of all time.
Playing their home fixtures at Pride Park Stadium, the club have had to navigate financial difficulties and periods in lower divisions in recent seasons, stabilising themselves back as a promotion contender in the Championship.
