Find out the youngest players to make an appearance for the Spain national team since 2000.
Spain's 2026 World Cup winning team consisted of several precocious superstars including the world-beating winger Lamine Yamal, formidable central defender Pau Cubarsi and midfield magician Pedri.
Yamal became the youngest player to represent La Roja when he made his international debut in September 2023, aged just 16 years and one month as he featured in the 7-1 victory over Georgia.
His Barcelona team-mate Cubarsi made his senior national team debut six months later in a 1-0 friendly defeat to Colombia aged 17 years and two months, pipping another La Masia graduate in Gavi by a day, who made his first appearance for Spain in 2021.
Ansu Fati was the youngest player to represent Spain this century when he made his debut against Germany in September 2020, taking the record off former Barcelona and Stoke City forward Bojan Krkic.
Ranking sixth on this list is Pedri, who made his debut aged 18 years and four months in March 2021, which saw him pip former La Roja star Cesc Fabregas by five months.
Yeremy Pino and Sergio Ramos are the only other players to make their Spain debut aged 18, ahead of Munir El Haddadi who completes the top 10.
