Luke Littler will be looking to bounce back to winning ways as he gets set to begin the defence of his World Grand Prix crown in Leicester.
The Nuke had hoped to become the first player in history to capture every televised major title across a calendar year, but saw his hopes of doing that dashed when Johnny Clayton dumped him out of the recent World Series of Darts Finals in the last four.
The world number one captured his second World Darts Championship title earlier this year and has since reigned supreme in a plethora of other events too, including the Premier League and World Matchplay.
He returns to the Mattioli Arena on the back of his success there 12 months ago, a run that was capped by a dominant 6-1 victory over great tungsten foe Luke Humphries.
World Grand Prix Betting Odds

Unsurprisingly, it's Littler who heads the betting as attentions turn towards the unique double-in-double-out format competition.
The Warrington thrower is the odds-on favourite to go back-to-back in the event, with Humphries -- his opponent in last year's final -- second in the betting.
Those two aside, no other player within the field possesses single digit odds, with Gerwyn Price and Gian van Veen priced up somewhat handsomely at 11/1 and 16/1.
Six-time winner Michael van Gerwen is likely to command some interest, despite his recent struggles, at 25/1, as should James Wade - a two-time champion - who is available slightly shorter at 22/1.
