Thirty-two of the finest tungsten throwers on the planet, including pre-tournament favourite Luke Littler, will take centre stage at the fabled Westfalenhallen in Dortmund, all hoping to claim the coveted silverware and top £150,000 prize.

There is bumper £750,000 up for grabs in Germany, with even the 16 first round losers guaranteed to pocket a cool £7,500.

Prize money rises significantly the deeper in the tournament a player progresses, with £20,000 the reward for the eight second round losers and a handsome £35,000 the reward to reaching the quarter-finals.

The two beaten semi-finalists will take home £50,000, £30,000 less than the runner-up's share of £80,000.

The winner of this year's European Championship, as previously mentioned, will be awarded a bumper paycheck to the tune of £150,000!

Not too shabby for four days work, right!
