Jannik Sinner is the clear favourite to win the men's singles French Open title and he is unlikely to face too much resistance from Juan Manuel Cerundolo.
Sinner reached the final in Paris last year before losing out to Carlos Alcaraz, but, with the Spaniard unable to defend his title due to injury, the Italian is heavily fancied to lift the trophy and claim the one Grand Slam missing from his collection.
Cerundolo has matched his best ever Grand Slam performance by reaching the second round of the French Open - he fell at this stage of this tournament last year.
It will be just the second time the 24-year-old Argentinian has faced Sinner, having lost in straight sets to the Italian at Wimbledon in 2023.

Best Bet: Jannik Sinner -9.5 games handicap @ 8/11
Sinner came into the French Open in outrageous form as his victory over Casper Ruud in the Italian Open final saw him claim a record-extending sixth successive ATP Masters 1000 title.
The world number one's first-round victory over wildcard Clément Tabur saw him record a 30th consecutive win and he should be able to extend that streak with a convincing victory over Cerundolo.
Cerundolo did manage a straight sets win of his own in the first round against Briton Jacob Fearnley, who is ranked outside the top 100, but that match was perhaps closer than the scoreline suggested as two of the sets went to tie-breaks.
Sinner has only dropped three sets in total during his 30-match winning streak and he should be able to win this 3-0. The Italian ace won by over 9.5 games against Tabur and he can repeat that feat against Cerundolo.
Alternative Bet: Juan Manuel Cerundolo under 0.5 breaks of serve @ 6/4
Sinner managed to navigate his first-round assignment without dropping a service game and he didn't even face a single break point in the two hours and 11 minutes he was on court.
Thursday's match may not be quite as straightforward, but there is still a reasonable chance that he avoids dropping a service game against Cerundolo.
The Argentinian only forced one break of serve in the final two sets against Fearnley, winning both of those on tie-breaks, so Sinner looks capable of coming through this match without losing a service game.
Jannik Sinner to win 3-0
Juan Manuel Cerundolo under 0.5 breaks of serve
Jannik Sinner 5+ aces
Juan Manuel Cerundolo 3+ aces
Pays 11/2
Sinner should win this match comfortably and a 3-0 success for the Italian seems the most likely result, given he is on a 30-match winning streak and has lost just three sets during that run of successes.
The world number one avoided even facing a break point in the first round and can come through this second-round assignment without losing a service game.
The four-time Grand Slam winner is averaging over seven aces per-match across the last 52 weeks and he had eight against Tabur, so five looks like an achievable target.
Cerundolo's serve isn't one of his major weapons but he did have six aces in his first-round win and has reached at least three in each of his last four outings, so three or more seems reasonable for the underdog.
