Livingston goalkeeper Jerome Hunt is the subject of interest from Queens Park Rangers this summer, according to reports.
The London side have made one signing so far this window, bringing in Dutch left-back Boy Kemper from NAC Breda on a free transfer.
Manager Julien Stephan will be aiming to build on a 15th placed finish heading into his second season in charge at Loftus Road and between the sticks is certainly an area where they can strengthen.
Prior, 30, has been courted by other EFL clubs this summer following Livingston's relegation from the Scottish Premiership and journalist Peter O'Rourke has reported that QPR are eyeing up a move for the former Bordeaux shot-stopper.
"Queens Park Rangers are among several Championship and League One clubs keen on Livingston goalkeeper Jerome Prior," said O'Rourke.
"The French keeper could be available for as little as £100k following Livi’s relegation from the Scottish Premiership."
The Rs look set to completely overhaul their goalkeeping options this summer with Paul Nardi and Ben Hamer already exiting the club. Both Nardi and Hamer featured in the Championship last season, alongside Joe Walsh, who has also been linked with a move away from West London.
Murphy Cooper, loaned out to both Barnsley and Sheffield Wednesday last campaign, has also been linked with League One outfit Wigan Athletic.
Prior has so far been extremely reliable during his time in Scotland, playing every single minute in the league last season and his side's drop to the Scottish Championship has brought about the opportunity to acquire him on a lower fee; despite having two years remaining on his current deal.
QPR are 16/1 to earn promotion back to the Premier League and will be hoping to capitalise on the two extra playoff spots that are now up for grabs in England's second tier.
