Ryan Hedges is on the lookout for a new club after his contract expired with Championship outfit Blackburn Rovers.
His departure marked the end of a four-and-a-half-year spell with the Lancashire outfit, with the club announcing his departure in May.
The 30-year-old is not set to be short of suitors however, with Footy Insider transfer correspondent Pete O'Rourke reporting that a number of Championship and League One outfits are "lining up a move" to sign the winger on a "free transfer".
Hedges is amongst three senior players leaving Ewood Park following the expiry of their contract, with Sondre Tronstad and Nathan Redmond also departing.
Hedges spent seven years in Everton's academy between the years of 2003 and 2010, before being released at under-16 level and joining Welsh outfit Flint Town United.
It was with Flint Town where he got his first taste for senior football, but it was in July 2013 at the age of 18 where his professional career kickstarted -- joining then Premier League side Swansea City.
Despite spending four years with the Swans, he failed to make a single senior appearance for the club, instead enjoying three respective loan spells with Leyton Orient, Stevenage and Yeovil Town.
His permanent Swansea exit didn't come until 2017, where he joined Barnsley. He accumulated 59 appearances for the Yorkshire outfit, but he scored just four goals and registered four assists in a relatively underwhelming two year stint before making the switch to Aberdeen.
The winger was highly thought of in Scotland -- registering 35 goal involvements in 86 games -- but the January of 2022 saw him return to England, with Blackburn signing Hedges for a reported £200k.
After 145 games, eight goals and 14 assists with the club, his spell at Ewood has come to an end and he will now be seeking a challenge elsewhere.
Preston North End and Charlton Athletic have been credited with interest in the 30-year-old, but it's yet to be seen as to whether this will materialise.
