The 2026/27 League One fixtures have been released, with Leicester City taking on Notts County in their respective returns to the third tier.
The Foxes will play in League One for just the second time in their history and are set to make the short trip up the A46 on opening weekend to take on newly-promoted Notts County.
Two more League One newcomers will face off in the early games on Saturday 15th August as Oxford United, back in the third tier after a two-year stint in the Championship, play host to Milton Keynes Dons.
Cambridge United, who returned to League One at the first time of asking, welcome Wigan Athletic on the opening day, while Sheffield Wednesday, bidding to return to the Championship, travel to Leyton Orient.
The final newly promoted side, Bromley, are preparing for life in League One for the first time in their history will travel to Barnsley for their maiden third-tier fixture.
