In the summer of 2023 Declan Rice became the most expensive English player of all time when Arsenal paid a club-record £105million to sign him from West Ham.
After being released from Chelsea's academy as a youth, Rice had been given a second chance in football by the Hammers and grasped it with two hands - making his senior debut in 2017.
Despite his youth Rice quickly became an integral component for West Ham, surpassing 50 first team appearances whilst still a teenager and captaining the club for the first time at 20.
His performances quickly caught the attention of then-England boss Sir Gareth Southgate, and Rice continued to go from strength to strength at club level - captaining the club to UEFA Conference League glory just weeks before departing the London Stadium.
Since arriving in North London Rice has continued to develop into one of the world's top midfield players, as Arsenal became genuine title contenders for the first time in years under Mikel Arteta.
After second-placed Premier League finishes in his first two campaigns at the Emirates, Arsenal finally made good on their momentum this season, winning a first league title in more than two decades.
In just three seasons at Arsenal Rice has already made 158 appearances in all competitions, and no player has appeared alongside him more frequently than fellow stalwart William Saliba.
In all the pair have shared the pitch on 142 occasions, one more than the second placed player Leandro Trossard.
But who else joins them in the top 10? Read on to find out.
