Antony remains the most expensive departure from Ajax following his €95m move to Manchester United in August 2022 - a transfer which also broke the Eredivisie record in the process.

The winger was hugely influential in securing back-to-back Eredivisie titles, as well as helping Ajax become the first Dutch club to win all six of their UEFA Champions League group games.

In addition to being Ajax's most expensive departure, Antony was the third highest fee paid by Manchester United but unfortunately failed to hit the heights at Old Trafford.

The Brazilian seemed to recapture some of his Ajax form during a successful loan spell at Real Betis and made the move permanent on 1st September 2025.
