James Morrison's backroom staff has been confirmed after the former Baggie was appointed as the the club's permanent head coach on 30th April.
After two failed appointments in the form of Ryan Mason and Eric Ramsay, West Brom turned to Morrison -- who had made 341 appearances for the club in his professional playing career -- on an interim basis.
The Scotsman oversaw a remarkable turnaround at The Hawthorns, losing just two of his 12 games in charge and steering the club to safety when nearly all hope was lost.
The permanent appointment of Morrison came as a surprise to few given his success in the latter stages of the 2025/26 campaign, and he's now assembled a coaching staff as West Brom enter their sixth season in the Championship.
A club statement read: "Albion have now confirmed James Morrison’s coaching staff ahead of the 2026/27 Sky Bet Championship campaign.
"Matt Gill is remaining at The Hawthorns as Assistant Head Coach. He initially linked up with Morrison’s men for the final 11 fixtures of last season, helping the Baggies put together a 10-game unbeaten run and secure safety."
Overseeing coaching roles at Ipswich Town, MK Dons, Swansea City, Southampton and Rangers, Gill joined West Brom on 4th March as a technical coach and will stay on as Morrison's right-hand man.
The statement added that "Morrison is also welcoming Gavin Strachan and Tony McMahon as First Team Coaches to Albion this summer".
Strachan joins the club from Scottish Premiership championship outfit Celtic, having served as their assistant manager since the 2019/20 term.
McMahon's previous endeavours include stints at Scunthorpe United and York City, most recently serving as Director of Football for the Minstermen.
The club confirmed that "Boaz Myhill will continue as Goalkeeper Coach, and Leigh Downing will return to his role as Senior Professional Development Phase Coach, leading the Baggies’ U21 team for the new campaign".
Meanwhile, "Damia Abella has departed the club this summer, bringing an end to his three-year stay at the Albion".
