Four meetings are set to take place in Britain and Ireland on Tuesday, with three of them on the Flat and one over jumps.
Racing Post tipster Marcus Buckland has provided three recommendations for the day’s action, with two from Ffos Las and one from Lingfield.
14:30 Ffos Las - Monsieur Patat @ 9/2
17:00 Ffos Las - Mythological Star @ 3/1
17:18 Lingfield - Mister Mojito @ 5/2
14:30 Ffos Las - Monsieur Patat @ 9/2
Veteran Monsieur Patat was never involved when favourite at Windsor last time, but the nine-year-old did make some late ground from an unpromising position and could well bounce back on this more galloping track.
The selection, who has won seven times from 48 career starts, had been in good form previously, outrunning odds of 40/1 when third at Kempton prior to being collared late on by the fast-finishing Rage Of Thunder at Newbury.
He’s back on his last winning mark of 65 and the Adrian Wintle yard is in excellent order, having sent out four winners from their last 14 runners.
17:00 Ffos Las - Mythological Star @ 3/1
There is a strong suspicion that Daniel and Claire Kubler’s Mythological Star is better than his opening official handicap mark implies.
The three-year-old gelding was outpaced and looked in need of the experience when down the field over 7f at Kempton in May, but he’s shown significant improvement in his two subsequent outings at Lingfield, finishing placed over the same trip on turf and upped to a mile reverting to Polytrack.
He ran to Racing Post Ratings of 74 and 76 on those occasions, so should be too good for his four rivals off today’s official figure of 72 under Billy Loughnane.
17:18 Lingfield - Mister Mojito @ 5/2
The booking of leading apprentice Jack Callan for Terry Kent’s Mister Mojito takes the eye, the five-year-old having shaped like a sixth career success was just around the corner when runner-up at Newmarket last month.
The gelding won three times in the early part of last year and, although he’s currently on a losing run of nine, he’s done little wrong in that time and has repeatedly run to Racing Post Ratings in the mid to high 70s.
He’s 3lb below his most recent success (May 2025) and looks sure to make a bold bid now reverting to the AW at Lingfield, where he’s currently a perfect 3-3.

Marcus Buckland enjoyed a tremendous Glorious Goodwood last week, tipping four winners from six selections - Dr Rascal (8/1), Lake Forest (1/1), Infraad (7/2) and Wild Blossom (13/8).
