He took to it well, winning both starts in novice company at the beginning of the season before being given a long break by trainer Nicky Henderson.
After more than five months off the track, he is ready to return, dipping his toe into Group company for the very first time.
If there was any uncertainty about his ceiling on the Flat heading into Saturday, then there definitely won't be after. Gethin, Tornado Alert and Pride Of Arras are all set to line up against him, making this by far his toughest test to date on the level.
