The DP World Tour resumes following a two-week break as Circolo Golf Torino hosts the Open d'Italia for the fourth time and first since 2014.
Frenchman Adrien Saddier won this tournament last year, prevailing by two strokes from compatriot Martin Couvra.
Despite the US Open taking place last week, several players who were in that field have made the journey to Torino to take part in this event.
Former Masters champion Patrick Reed is considered the favourite at odds of 14/1, along with LIV Golf star Joaquin Niemann.
Spaniard David Puig is 18/1 to win the tournament, with two-time winner on the DP World Tour this season, Casey Jarvis, sitting at 35/1.
Best Bet - Patrick Reed to win @ 14/1
Alternative Bet - Bernd Wiesberger to win and each-way @ 40/1
Alternative Bet - Francesco Molinari to win and each-way @ 55/1
Best Bet: Patrick Reed to win @ 14/1
When Reed announced that he was leaving LIV Golf in January this year, he wasn't able to play on the PGA Tour until late 2026.
As such, he turned to the DPWT and has since returned to the form which saw him win the Masters at Augusta in 2018, as the American has claimed two wins across just six appearances on tour this year.
His last appearance on the DPWT came in March at the Joburg Open, a tournament where he finished in a tie for tenth. Although failing to make the cut at the US Open, Reed has already sealed top-15 results at the Masters and PGA Championship this year.
He finished 29th in 2024 in what was his only previous appearance at the Open d'Italia, but he will be determined to improve on that this year.
If he can forget about his poor display at Shinnecock, Reed should be right up there come Sunday afternoon.
Alternative Bet: Bernd Wiesberger to win and each-way @ 40/1
Following a few underwhelming years, including a couple where he played on LIV Golf tour, Bernd Wiesberger finally looks as though is returning to his best.
The Austrian claimed his first win in five years back in April at the Volvo China Open and the former Ryder Cup player has missed just one cut since.
At the Austrian Alpine Open, Wiesberger used home advantage to secure a tie for fourth and he is certainly trending nicely.
Furthermore, his record at this tournament is excellent. Wiesberger won the Open d'Italia in 2019, fending off Matt Fitzpatrick and his record at the host venue this year also offers plenty of encouragement.
Circolo Golf Torino staged the event in 2013 and 2014 and the Austrian finished T23 in the former and sixth in the latter.
This course knowledge could well stand him in good stead this week.
Alternative Bet: Francesco Molinari to win and each-way @ 55/1
Francesco Molinari is not the golfer he once was, but the former Open champion can still produce four solid rounds together.
Indeed, the Italian finished T4 at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic in January, before going on to finish T6 at the Hero Indian Open a few months later.
A two-time winner of his national open, Molinari has won some of the biggest events in the game and has starred at three Ryder Cups, so don't underestimate him his week.
He finished inside the top-20 in both the 2013 and 2014 editions of the tournament, when it was last held at Circolo Golf Torino.
Backing him at 55/1 for a place this week could be a solid bet.
