Curtis Jones potential next club

With just a year left on his Liverpool contract, Curtis Jones' future looks to be away from Anfield and he could be on the move this summer.

Having made his way through the Reds' youth ranks, Jones made his senior debut in 2018 and he has racked up 153 Premier League appearances since.

However, the England international struggled to establish himself as a regular first-team fixture in the 2025/26 season, making just 18 top-flight starts, and this played a part in his omission from Thomas Tuchel's World Cup squad.

New Liverpool boss Andoni Iraola is reportedly happy to sanction a summer exit for Jones, who is attracting interest from a number of top European clubs.

Inter Milan

Inter Milan have been interested in signing Jones since January and they remain intent on trying to strike a deal with deal with Liverpool for his signature.

The Italian club's sporting director, Piero Ausilio, said, as quoted by onefootball.com: "We were interested in January and we are interested now as well.

"We tried and we will try again. If we meet on the valuation, good. If not, we will do something else."

The sticking point for Inter is the £35million price tag Liverpool have slapped on Jones, with the Nerazzurri reportedly unwilling to go beyond £22m.

On this point, Ausilio added: "Minimal gap? You're the ones saying that, the millions aren't yours."

Unless the Red ease their asking price, it looks unlikely Inter will get one of their top targets.

Arsenal

Premier League champions Arsenal are eager to strengthen their squad ahead of the upcoming campaign and they are believed to have recently joined the race for Jones.

The Gunners, who lost in the UEFA Champions League final to Paris Saint-Germain on penalties in May, are admirers of the Englishman and the £35m asking price is not a concern.

However, Liverpool may not want to strengthen one of their rivals by allowing Jones to make the switch to the Emirates Stadium and this could make a deal difficult.

Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest need to find a replacement for Elliot Anderson, who will be joining Manchester City this summer after a club record £116m deal was agreed.

The Tricky Trees have plenty of cash to spend and they have not been put off by the £35m valuation of Jones, who would have a more prominent role at the City Ground.

While keen to bring in Jones, Forest are also said to be looking at Brighton's Jack Hinshelwood and Tottenham Hotspur's Lucas Bergvall.

Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham boss Roberto De Zerbi is eager to bring in midfield reinforcements and the Londoners have failed with a reported £80m bid for Newcastle United's Sandro Tonali.

Spurs are weighing up whether to return with an improved offer, with £100m expected to be needed to prize the Italy international away from St James' Park.

If Tottenham decide to look elsewhere, it is thought they could move for Jones, who represents a significantly cheaper deal than Tonali.

Liverpool

There is the possibility that Jones ends up staying at Liverpool, who are rumoured to be willing to allow his contract to run down and let him leave for free if their valuation is not met.

It would be a brave decision from the Reds, who are missing out on a decent sum of money, while they risk upsetting Jones if they don't allow him to leave and his playing time remains limited.
