Arsenal have been crowned 2025/26 Premier League champions after Manchester City failed to defeat Bournemouth.
It's a seismic moment for the Gunners, who entered the campaign off the back of three consecutive second-placed finishes, and they're set to lift the title for a 14th time when they travel to face Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon.
There's been a different feel about Mikel Arteta's team in the 2025/26 season, and, barring a momentary blip that saw them lose back-to-back games against Bournemouth and Man City in April, they've been formidable throughout.
Arsenal have been notoriously associated with the "bottlers" label in recent years, not helped by their near success in the top-flight on three successive occasions, but they've proved a resilient outfit in the closing stages of the 2025/26 Premier League campaign, winning four consecutive games and conceding no goals.
Thanks to a helping hand from Andoni Iraola's Cherries, the pressure is off when they travel to Selhurst Park on the final day and they can celebrate a momentous top-flight triumph without looking over their shoulders.
But who leads the betting odds to win the Premier League in the 2026/27 season?
Arsenal are the 6/4 favourites to retain the Premier League title in the 2026/27 campaign.
bet365’s Steve Freeth said: “Admittedly, there has been a lot of fluctuation in prices over the last few days, but we’ve now settled on our first show!
“Arsenal and Manchester City were going to be joint favourites before the Pep news dropped and we’ve taken the axe to Chelsea’s outright price with the confirmation that Xabi Alonso will be in the Stamford Bridge dugout next season.
“Liverpool’s price won’t shift a great deal if Arne Slot does go, but the biggest change from this time last year is the 7/1 about Manchester United, who were 66/1 to win outright and 16/1 to be relegated after finishing in fifteenth in the 2024/25 season.
“Michael Carrick arrived in mid-January to steady the ship and ended up guiding the Red Devils into third with a return to Champions League football now guaranteed."
Aston Villa, who will be desperate to retain the services of Unai Emery beyond the summer, were viewed by some as legitimate title contenders around the midway stage of the 2025/26 season, before enduring a drop-off in form and ultimately securing UEFA Champions League qualification.
They're priced at 25/1 to lift the title in May of 2027.
