Enzo Fernandez's long-term future at Chelsea is clouded amid reports the Argentina international wishes to leave Stamford Bridge following the club's failure to qualify for Europe.
The Blues finished a dismal 10th in the Premier League and failed to obtain any silverware in a campaign that witnessed Enzo Maresca depart, Liam Rosenior named the Italian's successor and the former Hull City boss sacked after just 107 days.
Chelsea have since named Xabi Alonso as their new head coach, sparking optimism ahead of next season, but Fernandez's agent, Javier Pastore, is reportedly exploring his client's options ahead of the summer transfer window.
Fernandez joined Chelsea from Benfica for £107m in 2023 and is under contract until 2032, meaning the midfielder will not come cheap for any potential suitors. Chelsea are thought to value Fernandez at £120million and will only consider offers in that region.
We've assessed what might happen to Fernandez this summer and his next club odds.
Odds will display when market is available. Market settled on player's club on 1st September 2026.
Chelsea are odds-on favourites to retain Fernandez this summer as he remain a key part of the club's planning for next season.
At this stage it remains unclear who would be willing to stump up the cash for Fernandez. Real Madrid are known admirers of the Argentine, but Los Blancos are unwilling to enter negotiations at the price Chelse are asking - even if Florentino Perez is teasing a €150m signing if he's re-elected as club president.
Fernandez also has interest from Manchester City, who are set to appoint his former boss Maresca, although the Citizens are prioritising the signing of Nottingham Forest's Elliot Anderson.
