Twenty-four contenders will toe the oche with one of the biggest sporting stars on the planet in October, each hoping to capture a bumper pay cheque worth £501,000!

The life-changing sum of money will be the reward for any amateur darts player who can overcome the back-to-back World Darts Championship winner, and world number one, Luke Littler in a one-leg shootout.

The Nuke is putting it all on the line against members of the public, each of whom will be hoping to catapult themselves to stardom in Netflix's inaugural 'Beat Luke Littler' challenge, which will be screened live.

Here are all of the details surrounding the hugely-anticipated event.

The 'Beat Luke Littler' challenge will take place on Friday 30th October, 2026.

How to watch

Netflix will be live-streaming the 'Beat Luke Littler' event.

Line-up & Qualifying

Twenty-four players have come through an arduous three-stage audition process.

Firstly, the contestants had to check out a leg of 501 in 24 darts or fewer, with anybody failing to do so being eliminated.

Those who managed to check-out in eight visits or fewer were then interviewed by the show's production team to assess their suitability for live television, before those to have advanced to the next round were then interviewed by some of the sport's biggest names.

Sixteen-time champion of the world Phil Taylor, Matchroom supremo Barry Hearn and TV pundit Laura Turner all met and watched the contenders in action before whittling down to a final 24.

Prize Money

The reward for any player to defy the odds and overcome Luke Littler will earn themselves a colossal half a million pound, well £501,000 to be exact.

The prize money is a play on a standard leg of 501 darts, in which the first player to check the figure out, on a double, will be declared the winner.

It's not yet been confirmed as to whether Littler will take home the cash if he comes through his 24 matches unbeaten.
