Yankees vs. Brewers Home Run Hitters Picks & Predictions

Night two of the Yankees-Brewers series brings what may be the best pitching matchup of the entire MLB weekend slate.

After Milwaukee embarrassed New York 6-0 in Friday's opener, the Bronx Bombers will send their best to the mound, looking to even things up, Cam Schlittler.

They'll need him because the Brewers are countering with a southpaw who has quietly become one of the most impressive starters in the National League, Kyle Harrison.

With the first pitch set for 7:10 pm ET, let’s dive into our Yankees vs Brewers picks.

Yankees vs. Brewers betting picks and predictions

Under 7.5 Total Runs (-110)

Cam Schlittler has been the American League's most dominant starting pitcher in 2026, and that is not hyperbole. His 1.52 ERA leads the MLB, his 0.87 WHIP is fourth in all of baseball, and advanced metrics back up every bit of it; his FIP sits at the same mark as his ERA, meaning the results are earned.

The 25-year-old Weymouth, Massachusetts native pitches with a three-pitch fastball arsenal that overwhelms hitters, combining a four-seamer that touches triple digits, a sharp sinker, and a cutter.

Opposing him is Kyle Harrison, arguably the Brewers' biggest offseason success story. Acquired from the Red Sox in a trade over the winter, Harrison has been reborn in Milwaukee's pitching development system. His 3-1 record and 2.12 ERA represent a massive improvement from his career numbers before joining the Crew, and his 31% strikeout rate ranks among the top 10 in baseball.

The left-hander is drawing more whiffs on his four-seam fastball than at any point in his career, and Statcast shows an expected ERA in the mid-threes; a floor that's still well above league average.

The total of 7.5 is the number that should draw the most attention here. Both starters are operating at an elite level, and the market has priced this as a pitcher's duel by settling on one of the lowest totals of the season.

The Yankees' over percentage of just 45.9% on the year reflects a team that has generated plenty of run prevention, and when Schlittler is on the bump, scoring becomes even more elusive for opposing offenses.

Meanwhile, Milwaukee just shut out New York completely on Friday night. The Brewers' pitching staff, even while dealing with injuries to Brandon Woodruff and Quinn Priester, has remained stingy, and Harrison gives them every chance to hold a major-league lineup in check for six-plus innings.

Two of the game's most effective starters are both operating with sub-2.20 ERAs. Schlittler's WHIP of 0.87 is nearly impossible to sustain, but every piece of evidence says he remains dominant. Harrison is matching him quality start for quality start on the Milwaukee side. The Brewers just blanked this very lineup 24 hours ago, and cold early-May conditions in Milwaukee only suppress run scoring further.

With the Yankees posting one of the season's lowest Over rates and both teams' numbers pointing toward a low-scoring affair, the Under 7.5 at -110 is the clear play in this game.

Aaron Judge to Hit a Home Run (+210)

Judge owns a career .288 average with 99 home runs in 1,256 plate appearances against left-handed pitching. In 2026, he's already gone deep five times against southpaws in 47 plate appearances, a power rate that doesn't cool down against any pitching style.

His slugging percentage of .631 this season is fifth in baseball, and he has homered in four of his last 10 games. Harrison is excellent, but his xERA in the mid-threes suggests some regression is coming, and Judge is precisely the kind of hitter who accelerates that process when he gets a fastball to drive.

At plus-money odds, this is the highest-ceiling prop on the board for tonight's game.
