Matt Campbell's first year as the head coach for the Nittany Lions is off to a perfect 3-0 start. So far, the team has averaged 42.3 points per game and is coming off a dominant 55-13 win over Buffalo.
However, Penn State enters their first Big Ten matchup of the season without their leading receiver Koby Howard, who got injured last week. Howard recorded 344 recieving yards two touchdowns on 12 receptions so far this season and is expected to miss an "extended period of time." Penn State will look to rely on other key offensive players to make up for the loss. In the meantime, Zay Robinson and Amarion Jackson are the likely replacements for Howard.
The 2-1 Wisconsin Badgers are back on the road and looking to change the narrative, given the last time they beat Penn State was in 2011. Quarterback Colton Joseph has showcased dominance in the air so far this season with 752 passing yards, highlighted by a 362-yard performance against Eastern Michigan.
The Badgers defense faces a tall task of stopping Penn State on Saturday, but forcing three turnovers against Eastern Michigan could have lit a much needed spark before their arrival to Happy Valley.
