Victor Wembanyama is the major headline in San Antonio, and is the face of a new rivalry between Oklahoma and Texas on the NBA stage.

When the San Antonio Spurs face the Oklahoma City Thunder there are sure to be fireworks, and this NBA Playoff series will be no different.

Both teams are set up for long term success. With budding young superstars and manageable cap sheets, this could be the first of many Western Conference Finals meetings between the two teams for the remainder of the 2020s and beyond.

Victor Wembanyama has voiced his opinions on how the Thunder play, implying that OKC doesn't play 'ethical basketball,' fueling the dislike between both franchises.

In five meetings against the Thunder this year, Wembanyama has averaged 18.4 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks, and dominated Chet Holmgren. In four meetings against the Spurs, Chet has averaged on 10.5 points on 38.7% shooting.

Wemby will hope to find more success guarding the young big man, and hope to keep Shai Gilgeous-Alexander out of the paint as much as he can.
