Looking back at the 2018 NBA Draft class that was loaded with talented players and see which teams got their pick right.
2024/25 League MVP and NBA Finals Champion Shai Gilgeous-Alexander takes over the No. 1 Pick in this redraft, while the original top-2 picks find themselves much further down the board.
Three of the top-5 picks would go there again, but their actually pick gets a little scrambled.
Guards dominate the top of this redraft, and three of them are All-NBA candidates this season. These guards include Gilgeous-Alexander, Luka Doncic, and Jalen Brunson.
In this redraft, six second-round picks would climb into the first-round, and four players who went undrafted would also find themselves in the mix.

SGA is the clear number one pick in a redraft, especially after leading the Oklahoma City Thunder to an NBA Championship, and winning the league MVP.
Luka has the ability to knock him off the top spot but he does not yet have an NBA Finals victory or an MVP under his belt.
Jalen Brunson is the biggest riser in this redraft after originally going 33rd. Brunson was slightly overlooked out of college due to his smaller size, but has shown that size doesn't always matter in the NBA. Since joining the Knicks in 2022, Brunson has averaged 26.5 points per game, and led his team to the Eastern Conference finals in 2024/25.
Trae Young and Jaren Jackson Jr. flip-flop draft positions, but both players have been productive in their careers. Young overs more offense and playmaking with Jackson is an excellent shot-blocker in the paint.
There are a lot of three point shooters in this draft, including Anfernee Simons, Michael Porter Jr., Kevin Huerter, and Duncan Robinson who fall between 7-13.
The end of the draft does not feature a significant amount of talent, but there are lots of winning attributes like lockdown defending from Gary Trent, Mitchell Robinson, and Jared Vanderbilt.
Some players can do a little bit of everything like Bruce Brown, Gabe Vincent, and Kenrich Williams, and the rest are serviceable rotation players.
