Boston Red Sox ML (+155)
This is a showdown between the hottest team in baseball, Boston, and – if you go by World Series odds – the best team in MLB, Los Angeles. The Dodgers also owned the best record in the entire league prior to Saturday, but they now trail the Brewers by a half-game.
Boston is 13-3 since the all-star break and 22-3 in its last 25 games. Since July 1, its only losses have come to Baltimore in the second leg of a double-header, to Toronto with Dylan Cease pitching for the Blue Jays and by one run to the Athletics.
Ceddanne Rafaela is scorching hot for the Sox. The center fielder delivered multi-hit performances in a whopping four consecutive contests and has gone deep three times already in this series after doing so twice on Saturday.
The Dodgers have lost four of their last six overall, unable to build any momentum after going 2-5 in their last seven games prior to the all-star break. They are under .500 (10-11) over their past 21 contests. Perhaps even more alarming is that they are 2-6 in their last eight at home.
Although the +1.5 run line is also appealing, there is even better value on Boston’s money line well into plus odds.

Even though neither starter on Sunday is the ace of his respective staff, Boston’s Jake Bennett and LA’s Emmet Sheehan are no slouches. Bennett is 6-4 with a 2.74 ERA and 0.97 WHIP through 11 starts in his rookie season. Sheehan has allowed no more than two earned runs in four of his last five appearances.
It is also worth noting that the Red Sox rank first in all of Major League Baseball in bullpen ERA (2.95).
For the Dodgers, Kyle Tucker (.167), Max Muncy (.205) and Mookie Betts (.216) have all struggled since the all-star break.
Jarren Duran Over 1.5 Hits, Runs and RBIs (+120)
Duran’s 2026 campaign has been a disappointment, but is starting to show signs of life. Boston’s left fielder went 2-for-4 with two RBIs on Friday and added another hit on Saturday. He also went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and one run during last Sunday’s win over Toronto.
Duran is 1-for-2 lifetime against Sheehan with an RBI, a walk and no strikeouts.
