NLCS Game 2 Dodgers vs Brewers Predictions, Props & Best Bets

The Los Angeles Dodgers and Milwaukee Brewers meet for Game 2 of the NLCS on Monday night at American Family Field in Milwaukee.

The Brewers won Game 1 of the series 2-1 on Sunday night. Bryce Turang blasted a solo home run in the fourth inning, and Luis Lara's RBI single in the fifth inning proved to be the difference in the game.

First pitch for Game 2 is slated for 5 p.m. ET on FOX.

Dodgers vs. Brewers betting picks and predictions

Brewers ML (+118)

Game 2's pitching matchup will pit Los Angeles' Yoshinobu Yamamoto against Milwaukee's Logan Henderson. Both right-handers have been excellent this season, but Henderson gives Milwaukee a slight edge on the mound.

Over the regular season, Henderson went 11-3 with a 2.47 ERA and 0.84 WHIP in 98.1 innings. He was particularly good at home, posting a strong 1.84 ERA to go along with a 0.77 WHIP in 8 home starts. He will be pitching at home in this one, and should be comfortable with the task at hand.

Henderson faced the Dodgers twice during the regular season, and he wasn't phased. In those two outings, he held the Dodgers to just five hits and a single earned run over 12.0 innings of work. Milwaukee won both of those starts, which should give him plenty of confidence heading into Game 2.

The Milwaukee bullpen has also been lights out in the postseason, posting a 0.38 ERA over 23.2 innings of work. The Brewers have won each of Henderson's last four starts, and were 55-26 at home this season. With plus-money odds on the moneyline, they are the team to back in Game 2.

Under 6.5 (+102)

Game 1 featured just three total runs, and Game 2 has a chance to be another low-scoring affair.

As previously mentioned, Henderson saw great success against Los Angeles in the regular season, and the Milwaukee bullpen is on a roll in the postseason. Together, Henderson and co should be able to limit the damage from Los Angeles' well-rounded lineup.

Yamamoto has been a force on the mound all season long, and he was comfortable on the road. In fact, Yamamoto's ERA dropped from 3.13 at home to 1.77 on the road. Furthermore, his BAA fell from .190 to .177. Yamamoto put forth a sensational postseason last year, and is off to a great start by tossing 7.0 innings of one-run ball with 10 strikeouts in Game 3 of the NLDS against the Braves.

This has the makings of a great pitchers duel. Look to the under.
